Mixture Reality (MR) technology, we propose a smart system that can educate individual, collective and system in preparation for natural disasters. The system can teach standard procedure for evacuation, enhance observational learning and create an active feedback loop to improve built environment.
1. Suppose there is a fire in this building, how would you get out? 2. You probably will follow one of the exit signs 3. Now suppose the fire is in somewhere you don’t know, how would you get out? 4. You probably won’t know, at least you won’t be able to come up with an answer from your previous fire drill 5. Current fire drill does not take account for any active catastrophe scenarios 6. No drills for more natural disasters like earthquake, flooding and tsunami 7. So what do we do 8. A quote from Yoichi Masuzoe, governor of Tokyo City 9. Disaster preparedness needs to be realized from two aspects: self-help and mutual assistance initiative and public assistance initiative 10. At individual learning aspect, we provide evacuation guide for people 11. At system aspect, we organize collective learning and systematic evacuation for group 12. Now please refer to our demo
